Iran metro plaza hosts 8 street performances for Fajr theater fest

Plaza at Tehran's subway station hosts eight street performances of the 2023 Fajr International Theater Festival in Iran.

According to a release on the festival's website, the plaza located above the metro lines of Vali-e-Asr Square station already hosted 2 street performances of the major theater event in Iran.

Six more street performances will take place in the same venue known as "Waiting Plaza".   

The opening ceremony of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival was held at Vahdat Hall in Tehran on January 21.

Besides a great number of talented stage actors from Iran, foreign troupes from Brazil, Russia, Oman, Spain, Iraq, Armenia, Tunisia, and Jordan have taken part in the artistic event.
